Thats a nice list. Backlinks and relevant content does help. With that word-of-mouth is the best way to direct traffic to your blogs and Tell-a-Friend is the best way to encourage word of mouth referrals.

Yahoo answers is great for traffic, but the links are no folow so does not really help SEo
I am surprised that no one seems to have commented on link bait and pillar posts

And guest blogging is another really co way of getting one way links
