Default Affiliate Payment

Payments to affilites are usually by check or direct deposit, although some companies pay in merchandise or service credits. Most internet companies pay you in US dollars if you reside outside the United States. This is a Big bonus for non-US residents.

In joining an affiliate network, be sure to confirm the currency that the company deals in. For example, a Canadian base company will pay you Canadian dollars if you live in Canada, and American dollars if you live anywhere else in the world. Some programs may allow you to choose your payment currency option.

This may not be that significant to some but you'll never know the inconvinience it will bring like the hassle of converting one currency to another. It might saves you a lot of headaches!

Most affiliate networks pay on a 15 or 30-day basis (NET15 or NET30). How does this work? They usually count the number of days from the sale is made. For example, for NET 15, they will count 15 days from the sale is made and then they will issue you a check on the nearest pay cut-off period. Minimum pay-out is usually $50. Usually payments may be received longer than expected because of the other process involved like verification accounts, identity check, fraud prevention and the like.

Well , the affiliate programs these days offer very flexible methods of payments as they offer paypal , e-gold and checks at the same time , make sure you are clear about how and when you will be paid by the internet affiliate program. Sometimes affiliates will have a set payment schedule (monthly, bi-monthly or even quarterly), and others will be open to negotiating something that works for both of you. The most important thing is to make sure you are all on the same page.
