Default What made you decide to get into Affiliate Marketing?

I think most of us didn't get into affiliate marketing by accident, and we all had previous jobs or other sources of income. Affiliate Marketing is relatively new to others and it's something that you need to understand completely before you even think of getting started and leaving your day job.

I must admit, when affiliate marketing was introduced to me, I wasn't all that interested. And all the technical stuff was hard to digest. I had a stable 8-5 job in a corporate office, it was a risky decision to leave my job for a career I had little knowledge of. But I was getting tired of the daily routine of my job, so what the heck, might as well give it a shot. I was searching for work-at-home jobs and that's when I stumbled into affiliate marketing. I created my own website with a little help, and before I knew it, I was earning commission left and right.

Care to share how you ended up in affiliate marketing? It might inspire those who are still hesitating to join this dynamic business.

For me, it's the not having to develop a product and you can choose from a wide variety of products on just about anything. Even if you do have a product it's good to promote complimentary stuff on your site to make a buck or two that way, also.

I think if someone really wants to make money online and does not have the skill in a particular field like technical or medical etc , then seeing the benefits of affiliate marketing monetarily etc why would not one join this . The best internet affiliate programs will offer you a variety of marketing tools that you can put on your website. These could include banners, graphics or text links. Having a variety of choices still allows you to be in the driver’s seat in terms of how people click through to the affiliate site.
