How to make sure you get accepted for programs/campaigns?

I would think that, you:-

• Utilize the site description box to the max. Some points to mention would be, your marketing strategies (what you plan to do), the acceptability of you being an affiliate in other merchants, etc.
• Make sure that the site is sufficiently well designed to avoid making the merchant's brand look bad on your site.

Relevance of the site to the program. Actually owning the domain name registered.
What get's you accepted, and what are some reasons you got rejected?

-Register for a domain name & get a suitable webhost.

We''ll It depends on how much you know already! Whatever plans or ideas you come up with, post it in the forums and get lots of feedback. Ask pertinent or specific questions, and don't be shy to ask for something you don't know. If you're just starting, always have experienced guides.

Well , it is not clear for which programs you are talking about as i take it to be freelance work also . you want to ask for some references if possible. An experienced freelancer should have plenty of references of past clients available or at the very least emails address or phone numbers for contact. Check them and ask about their project turnover time, their skills, their abilities, and their track record of completion.Past work and experience matters a lot .
