Google Book Search Helping Amazon Book Sales
Google Book Search of it's UK version, has increased dramatically in traffic. It seems that it rose by 73%. Amazon.com has alot of reasons to be happy as it shows a reasonable amount of traffic that goes to the US or UK Google Book Search, went directly to Amazon afterwards.
Meaning, people are using Google Book Search to preview the books before buying it in Amazon. Even when Google makes full texts avaialble in certain books, the viewers still went to Amazon to buy the books.
Can you imagine what would happen if Google begins to sell books and integrate it with Google Book Search?
Book sellers should provide more previews of their work online if they want to sell more books.
