Could anyone tell me what is the SEO and and other things related to it iam sorry but iam little new to such things..If I have a website so how I can promote it to Top Rank??

first you must add meta tag on your website, you can search on google what is meta tag.

Then you must build backlink to your website. that what i always doing to optimize my website.

Somehow I think building links has a higher gravity than the contents. People always said contents is king..but it could be the other way round

Link building has high value, but it means absolutely nothing without content. If you build good content people will be happy to link to you so having good content will only 'help' your link popularity in my opinion.

I 'do' agree that having lots of 'quality' links to your site is important, but these days search engines gauge a lot more than just link backs as most of you know.

Yeah, you could be right and I think what the website has to give to the audience that makes a lot of difference. If you are giving a high value information or services, people will love it.. It's what you give that matters most..if people like it, that means people will spread the words and drive unique traffics..

so whatever it is, build something that gives value to others..not just trying to oversell on others there a lot of people who are more interested in selling to others that give values to others..but there's nothing wrong with that
