Default Yahoo! Fully Owns RightMedia

Since October of last year, Yahoo! own 20% of RightMedia and just recently, it purchased the remaining 80%.

The said purchase amounted to $680 million.

It could be remembered that Google recently bought DoubleClick, and this might be Yahoo!'s "getting ready" on probable advertising battle (as if, it hasn't started).

yahoo and google, the IT cold war...

both have acquired advertising systems that may function for their benefit and service wise, we could see a lot things coming again...

Ok so this meas yahoo doesnot want to stay behind in this game too . and so if this remains the case will we see in the future only two three bif companies having all the bif resources ? In a move that many suspected and most see as an answer to Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick, Yahoo’s acquisition of Right Media will strongly boost the companies online display advertising options. The acquisition of Right Media will further Yahoo!’s goal to create the industry’s most open, accessible and vibrant advertising marketplace, which will help democratize the buying and selling of digitally enabled advertising
