If you own a website, whatever its nature, one goal you want to achieve is to improve your search ranking, hence, one thing you must truly master is SEO.

There may be a lot of definitions around and tips on how to expose your website and get a better ranking. But for some experts they only boil down into two - Texts and Links!

Your website needs well written texts all over it and thousands of links pointing to you. Over time, once you build these two, you'll have a superb ranking in any search engines.

hmm.. well the hard part would be trying to get people linking back at your page..

maybe try some link exchange or something?

Yah, there's always a catch to get people link back to you. You may do a bit of link exchange although it may not be considered as natural linking. Google likes one-way links, and frowns on reciprocal links since it's considered too unnatural or SEOish.

For link exhanges, there's some wily ploys to make it look like one-way linking. One way to do that is using the nofollow tag on links.

I guess, you may try three-way linking, paid linking or better yet, write relevant content so that one may be enticed to link you back without asking in return (one-way linking).
