Arteis has recently been acquired by HP.

Arteis has been very successful in providing logo and logo designs and related services to small enterprises. Now, with the purchase, wouldn't it be a formidable team up?

If that is the case HP would indeed benefit form the sudden acquisition. Hp should also consider as it also converts its marketing strategy in buying such companies to lay down their plans on companies doing graphics.

This selling should have been made in public, so the selling price for such companies could have been estimated.

Arteis had been quite successful for its past business years. It had been recording net earnings for consecutive years since 2004.

I am not a big fan of selling your company. It has been a trend that once a small up rising company is about to make it big (ok, not that big yet), a pretty established company in the industry will acquire it.

the company arteis that hp has bought operates both Logoworks, a Web-based design service company, and LogoMaker, a do-it-yourself application that allows businesses to create their own logos. Logomaker enables businesses to create their logo for use in Web pages, electronic documentation and personal printing. Using LogoMaker in EPS format allows businesses to create an artwork version of their logo for professional applications including printing, signage and embroidery.HP's acquisition will strengthen Logoworks' ability to provide professional design solutions at a fraction of market cost to customers .
