Isaac Asimov already warned us!!!!
If you have read any of Isaac Asimov titles about the foundation you will get the gist of what technology might do in the future. Well in this planet called Aurora nobody made contact with each other in a personal way. Even sex was a dirty thing. You could only communicate through a device called a viewer. Can you guess what happened to them in the end. Thats right they perished because they simply did not like human companionship but prefered Robots to have around. Their robots did all their work for them and even tended to their vast properties. They were even advanced enough to prolong their lives. But guess what they never ventured out of their planet because they did not want contact with other humans in the galaxy. So they were just stuck on their planet and were slowly reduced in numbers till the whole planet became a vast dead zone with only a few robots around but in the end they too stopped functioning. Are we also heading there in a few milennia.
