Scheduling. It a kind of ruler to gauge where you're at. You come up with a tight schedule and it usually doens't turn out well, cuz we usually overestimate what we can achieve. You scale down... and hopefully you'll be able to meet it. If you breeze it, then you gotta tighten it more and see how it goes.
Or you could start with a bare minimal, achieve it, tighten your schedule as you go along. Although, I have to say that very soon, it's gonna bring about new sets of challenges with every turn of the screw.
Practicals:-
Have a schedule and know your level of productivity. Good to know. I think a productive life can be very fulfilling and it helps to prepare or avoid mid life crisis.
