There are plenty of sites out there that promises wealth and riches. They sell newsletter subscriptions, plans, books, methods, etc.
What to look out for? The following article has a few practical guidelines.
Frustration of a newb
Makes me wonder, if these 'experts' tone down on their promises, paint a more realistic picture and provide realistic expectations, would their sales do better? Or perhaps it would become unattractive at all.
One recurring thing that I see from these sites are, they feature Promise after promise and paint the most beautiful picture, like heaven on earth but offer no credibility what so ever. I mean, come on, show me a website or something that's still going strong instead of a landing page.
Also, if If my method works so well, I'd have some companies signing up for it and I'd have no reason not to feature these established sites on my site. Rather than say "thousands of people have used our system to earn xxxxx", show us a credible case example and one high profile customer.
Tons of sites with big promises out there, but so far there's no winning formula besides, learning, improving, increasing your skills, hardwork and persevering.
