Tips for raising actual traffic on your website.

So, hello all I tried to look for a thread like this, but either I am blind, or then it doesn´t exist. I would like you pros to share me what kind of advertising programs you have used/use to get traffic on your site, and what do YOU think is the most useful. I have personally made no sales in 2,5 months and I have tried rotation sites, exchanging banners, squidoo, reddit, TrafficSwarm, Digg, Delicious etc. And NONE of these have given me any actual visitors is there something I´m making wrong or?? Oh, right almost forgot, I am curretly trying ezine articles, heard it works pretty well. Sorry for troubling you all, but honestly this is starting to seem pretty useless and you guys might know something I have not noticed yet. Thanks in advance.

Ya, keep trucking. How is your site? It seems like you are going through the motions but perhaps in this slow time you can improve on your ads and on the site. Add content that way you end up getting natural traffic!

Have you consider advertising at search engine like google or yahoo. You can join their advertising program and your ads will appear at their search results whenever people do some searching based on keywords. Anyway it gonna cost you a bit but this is the fastest way to get results.

But if you are looking for free traffic methods, like you are doing right now, you just need to keep on testing. But my advice is go deep on one method, learn and try everything you can instead of trying to do everything at once. You need to be superior at one thing then only you try the next thing.

Make mistakes, learn from it and keep going!!

Yeah, I decided even before I started, that I would use google with extremely targeted keywords the moment I make my first sale You see, I am unemployed at the moment(I´m a chef). So I really don´t have any extra money to use in advertising. Thought I would raise my sales little by little, starting with bum marketing. Probably the main reason why I have started so slow But since I have no job, I have a lot of time to use perfecting my site.

The most amazing thing about internet is that it gives everyone the opportunity to make money without or little money down. To build success you need to build a track success. You need to achieve small success to keep your momentum. Success can be anything. Even buying a domain name can be a great success for for somebody who knows nothing about internet.

Just keep on doing, believing, achieving small success and you will be on your way to achieve your goals. I have seen many time people got burn-out or got hooked up with too much information but do nothing about it. It takes time and massive action.

Thats true, JediBot. It take time, money (if you outsource the promotion part) and a lot of effort, but it’s worth it.
