Time to recoup
Well, I am talking from experience having lived in the United States for almost 20 years. I have also served in the US Army and even fought in the persian gulf. America has always made the rest of the world feel second placed and exerts its authority time and time again. The world is changing now as the US is getting more and more dependent on the rest of the world.
Time for the US to either be a player or commit political suicide by charging into someone elses backyard and throwing a party. The grip is loosening with President George Bush and his croonies. If anything this man has ruined the reputation and standing of this once proud nation. Too bad that the conservatives do not see my way till they actually get off their fat asses and smell the coffee at ground zero and see the actual suffering of the people whose life has been robbed from them.
Now the military is engaging in all kinds of duties that do not encompass their duties as soldiers. When this happens so do the rules violations increase and soon you have a military that has next to no dicipline and direction. This is what is happening if you happen to read the news from time to time.
