Default Are you interested in Free Promotion?

Anything that is FREE certainly appeals to many people. But what if you can earn money from the free stuff/privilege that you are getting online?

Sounds good, right? Well have you considered using your Signature (in Emails and Forum) as advertising option. Well, for many affiliates as well as other internet advertising executives, this tool has proven to be an excellent advertising source - especially as this comes free.

What is a Signature?
A signature is a piece of information usually a block of text placed at the end of your forum/newsgroup messages or emails. It may include your name, a brief statement about you and/or your business, and a link to your website or business.

How can you use it for advertising? Signature advertising is simply placing your signature in the postings on forums/newsgroups and at the end of emails that you are sending out. Would you believe that it is proven fact that about 75% of people on the Internet today will click on your signature links. And it's 100% free advertising!

But make sure that you always read the posting and signature rules on each forum! If rules are not followed, you could be infracted. Our forum here allows signature so you may use this to your advantage.

This is sooo very true. If you are promoting a service that is related to the forum that you participate in, not only will people click on your sig link, but they will convert best as customers.

One of the Merchant on AffiliateBOT, AsiaJam recruits it's own forum members as affiliates. This is because these forumners also participate in other related forums and by utilizing AffiliateBOT's BB code links, they can insert affiliate links as signature!

But of course, like bullseram said, make sure you read the TOs of the forums before inserting an affiliate link as your signature!

I find signatures as an advertising tool very effective, and on top of that, it's free! Anyone can use a signature as long as the forum allows it. You can even mix it up and add a little style to it. You can maximize it by promoting more than one program.

Many website owners visit webmaster-related forums such as Digital Point, Site Point, Namepros, and many others on a frequent basis. Every user on these forums gets a signature, a message that is automatically added below each post made by them that can contain texts, links, or even images. These signatures can be very valuable for Internet marketing purposes.

"75% of people on the Internet today will click on your signature links"

This stats look good. I would certainly increase my forum participation then to get good exposure for the programs that I promote.

Of course , forum signatures are becoming hot ways of promoting , though people should really also follow forum rules . some people who just spam in order for their signature to be seen are really irritating . One must do this promotion according to various forum rules and regulations . Whenever you ask, answer or leave comments on these forums, it's like you're participating in the discussion and trying to help the community to learn more about the topic they are discussing. If you give enough value to the community and the readers trust you, they'll want to check out what business you have and what product you've got to offer.
