Comaparing yourself to other affiliate programs
Is comparing yourself to other affiliate programs an effective means of converting existing affiliates? There is a thin line between comparing yourself and actually giving negative feedback on others, and you wouldn't want to cross that line. One thing I learned in marketing is to promote your good points without directly stressing the bad points of the competition. I think there wouldn't be a problem if you mention the particular competition as long as what you wrote down is 100% true. You wouldn't want it to turn into a legal issue. Most likely, the affiliate already knows the perks of his existing affiliate program, so you need to focus more on selling your good points. Some things to consider here are the commission, cookies, datafeeds, coupons and so on. I guess every affiliate already knows that, but what's important is how you present yourself.
