This is also something that I have been thinking of for quite some time. Which really has a greater effect towards the achievement of success, the education that you have acquired or the experiences that you have gained? I guess there is no exact formula to attain success. Sometimes, a student who was tagged as an academically average student is the one receiving good job offers over the the person who garnered the most academic awards and recognition during their graduation. No one can ever tell the exact formula.
However, I personally believe that both of them can be an aid in your career growth but it should be tied up with another ingredient. And what is that ingredient? Well, it's good personal and professional attitude. Good attitude can bring forth good relationships and sound decisions because you are knowledgeable about the considerations and the possible outcome of your choices. But I guess having the education, experience and attitude will greatly help you altogether. Education alone can't because sometimes having more of it can transform you to a cyborg that just decide based on theories. Neither is experience alone. I guess the close-to-exact formula (I'm saying that it's only close to exact but really not the proven formula... ) for success is:Constant Education+Experience+Good Attitude=Success Agree or disagree? Please let me know....

In defining success, I always go for Thomas Edison's definition of it - Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration!

Would you agree with me if I say that right timing is one of the main ingredients of success? I'm not saying you don't need knowledge, skill and experience. These are all resume-worthy and must-have's on the road to success. You can motivate yourself all you want and set a goal, but what keeps you from achieving that goal is not the lack of knowledge, skill or experience, but the lack of opportunity. What I'm trying to say is you can really be smart and have the right diploma, but you're just not at the right place, at the right time when a good opportunity comes along. When you see something great, grab it!

Just put your mind and heart into whatever you want to accomplish.... then everything else will eventually follow.

totally agree , without education , you can get nowahere . by this i dont mean that only school education , education in any sense . like even browsing pages full of good information without someone really telling you is also good education . Most people are victims of their spending desires. That difference between wealthy people and those who are not is not the difference in their bank accounts but the difference in their attitudes towards spending. If you can hold today for a better tomorrow, wealth is on its way!
