Online or In A Store

A friend once asked me if what is the best place to shop effectively and conviniently. Online or in a store?

Personally I voted for online shopping because generally, online sellers features lower prices because they don't have the overhead of renting a pad in a strip mall, high electric bills, and a staff of sales people. There's even Web sites that offer 'percent off' discounts if you enter a code after meeting a minimum purchase requirement, which could save even more money.

How about you? What's your choice?

I personally have been buying online and it does cost less than if you buy from a shop cause there's no tax. But there are some online stores that charge shipping fees depending on how much you buy from them. If you're sure of what you want to buy, like if its a particular camera model that you've already seen, then buying online would be an advantage. Or if the item you're buying has a generic look and you're after the features or it's something that you've been buying regularly, then by all means buy online. But if you're looking for let's say for example clothes or shoes that have a certain texture or size, I would definitely suggest buying from a shop to see the real thing first.

Most likely, you'll need a credit card, Pay Pal account, checking account, or some sort of online financing option. You'll have to wait for it to arrive through the mail.
