Default Wikipedia cofounder On a trip to Delhi

Good academic behavior does not include citing encyclopedias as primary sources in research, said Wikipedia Latest News about Wikipedia cofounder Jimmy Wales over his cell phone from San Francisco last week.

On a trip to Delhi, India, last summer, Wikipedia cofounder Jimmy Wales said he was impressed with the networks in some of the city's slums that are educating children who otherwise would never have a chance to go to school. "Education is crucially important," Wales said. "It's fascinating to see how education can happen with very little money."

I think its worth the visit. I salute Jimmy Wales for such a bold move. Sometimes you need to go "outside the box" to see a better perspective of things.

Mr. Wales has made a good choice in visiting India, he has exposed himself on what the cultures of other countries have and the determination and triumph of the human spirit because of poverty, I agree that education should be free and it is the key to success.

it is not always the case, but I guess, if you have the access to good facilities, learning also does come easy.

Take one of the entrepreneur's favorite articles on the Web site, an entry called "Inherently funny word."

The reader learns that the consonants p, b, t, d, k and g "are the funniest sounds in the English language." A good example of this, the authors argue, is the word "underpants." That's a funny word according to the entry. The word "underwear" apparently is not.

Certain vowels may create funnier words, too. The authors of the article insist that the euphemistic curse word "frick" is funnier than Battlestar Galactica's invented curse word "frak."
