Questions: What drives people to do online business?

Hi guys,

i have a problem and i need your help.there are few questions that i can hardly get answers

after researching so many articles.so i just need some answers from you because i'm trying

to understand buyer's psychology and you can take this thread for a reference in the

future..all you need is to spend 5 mins on this questionnaire..i know you might think it is

a waste of time helping me answering the questions..but i guarantee you..you will come back

here again next time

my questions are:-

1) what drives you to do online business(affiliate,ebay,etc)? what are your
needs and wants?
eg: improve lifestyle,facing financial problems,etc

2) imagine you're new,what are the features that you're looking for in a
product before you purchase it? (be specific)
eg: if you said proof (what type of proof?)

3) what are the hot buttons that trigger you to pull your credit card out from
your wallet?

4) what are the biggest fear before you do a purchase?
eg: no money back guarantee.

5) if you've already been in online business for quite some times, what is the urgent problem that you to solve?

nice to see you on the forums. well, let's get to the answers.

1. Well, I'm into affiliate marketing particially due to my passion in writing, and partially to supplement my income. I'm currently making a steady sum from the ShopNewZealand affiliate program alone.

2. I'd be looking for quality. And Proof that the product works?

3. I don't usually succumb to impulse buys, but I do use my card for online purchases when cash is not an option. I'd prefer to pay through Paypal though.

4. That the product will turn out to be different than what was shown on the site. Or of poor quality.

5. Driving more traffic to my site.

just to understand more about your background...you dont have to answer if you're uncomfortable with it..
1) so Tephus, are you married? have any children (if you're married)

2) is there any wants and needs besides that?

3) you'll be looking for quality..so what type of quality that you're looking for? and about the proof...what type of proof that convinces you more?
