Cloaking referral links

Has anyone of you tried cloaking by yourselves your own affiliate/referral links? Is that possible? As you can see our affiliate links are so long, but still it redirects to the main landing page (without our ID #) and this is good since a lot of peeps don't want the referrers to make money from them.

Cloaking is a good idea .Many dishonest people will do anything they can to prevent affiliate marketers from getting their commission for their hard work. When people see a link that they recognize as an affiliate link they might cut your username off and buy directly from the website or even worse, they might replace your username with theirs and take your commission.
