What is your top five all time favorite movie?

My top five would be

1. City of Angels...basically, it is a movie reminding us...of our FREEDOM...our FREE WILL...to choose our destiny... I love Meg Ryan

2. Butterfly Effect... Time travel is a very interesting topic, and this movie tells an even more interesting story.

3. Dead Poets Society...Robin Williams is a Chips off the old block in the quirky comi-tragedy "Dead Poets Society." He's almost as serenely eccentric as the archetypal teacher everybody remembers, that rare educator deserving of apples.

4. The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) - Just released recently - Much better than you might think - Superb performance by Will Smith

5. Saving Private Ryan - Should I say more...

5. Dejavu - stars Denzel Washington in which he tried to go back in the past for 4 days in order to save the girl he loves dearly.

4. Blood Money - which stars Leonardo Dicaprio. Its a stor about the Diamonds that have been manipulated by syndicates.

3. Somewhere in Time - stars Christopher Reeve - a timeless piece indeed.

2. Ghost - I couldn't forget how Patrick Swayze tried everything to solve his case.

And the winner is........

1. Pretty Woman - I simply love Julia Roberts here playing innocent of the lifestyles of the rich and famous when as a matter of fact, she knows nothing but to pretend. Not to mention the superb portrayal of Richard Gere playing a tycoon in the business of buying and selling companies.

this is a hard one though...im a big movie fan and can't just narrow down my picks to five.

Alright, this is in random, not sure really if these are my top choices:

1. A very long engagement - a French film and I adore the cinematography

2. Amelie - same lead, same director, amazing story telling

3. A series of unfortunate events - i like this kind of brand of comedy

4. While you were sleeping - this is the kind of romantic comedy i watch

5. Vanilla sky - i like the twist and turn

A Series Of Unfortunate Events - Yeah I watched that movie! The performances of the casts is superb, Jude Law's perfect narration, and The Hoffman Twins astonishing performance as Sunny.

home alone - i love kiddy movies and i liked all versions of home alone
titanic - because it was the ultimate love story
pretty woman - quite nice and romantic
sleepover - i like teen movies a lot
problem child - again a kid movie

The Killer - Hong Kong action film by John Woo starring Chow Yun Fat. Serious action and has a lot of elements that became Woo's signature. This is my all time favorite movie.

Casino - This is my all time favorite Hollywood movie and is based on a true story. I love mob flicks.

True Romance - I could watch this all the time. Awesome cast. I think like everyone is in this.

Terminator II: Judgement Day - Best Terminator ever. My favorite film villain is in this also - Robert Patrick.

Goodfellas - Love mob flicks and you can't beat it when De Niro/Joe Pesci team up.

It's a story about magicians. There so many unexpected magic and twist and turn in the movie. VERY UNEXPECTABLE...

I don't usually see movie with the magician theme tho...
That's why I highly recommend this to everyone here.

Another one is NUEVE REINAS (an argentine movie). It means NINE QUEENS.
-it's an award winning movie. It also has an unexpected story plot.
