Keyword Phrase w/Huge Difference in Results

While looking for different niches, I came across a keyword phrase with the following results using popular keyword research tools:

- 160 searches/day (WordTracker)
- 12800 searches/day (Overture)

Does this make any sense?

what i see there are only numbers...i am still clueless in seo optimatization.

12,800 searches / day really doesn't make sense for most keyword phrases.

If the keyword is 'baseball', then i think the overture results include any keyword phrase with the word 'baseball' in it. That's why it's so bloated.

Never heard of word tracker as a good keyword tool . And in overture they display the result of basically all related words . Like if you search for shoes as a keyword , it will display results for all keywords that are too related like red shoes , tennis shoes , running shoes , nike shoes etc . Plus I think google has the best keyword tool of all .
