Default Program Management

The affiliate manager allot an hour and a half of his time doing program management. This is being done to satisfy the programs and services that has joined the affiliate network. It is proper that the agreement between the two parties involved, like the affiliate network and the merchants to have a pleasnat relationship because the success of the agreement means higher profit and commission for the network.

Here are some of the things to expect in doing program management:

1. Recruiting affiliates to promote the affiliate network's programs
2. Given the database of the network, research for additional tips and strategies for doing promotions
3. Reach out for existing affiliates and also guide them on how to increase their commission and earnings.
4. Find new affiliate members
5. The most effective way for affiliate promotions, join the forums on your own network and on other competitors.
6. Do some private messaging
7. Be creative and join forums, and groups, this could be of great help on looking for affiliates.

The program manager is responsible enough to think for possible and additional marketing methods, the list above are some of my ideas on the matter.

Well the first point calls for some investment . check out every potential affiliates' sites, manually approve each, and avoid the temptation to recruit too many.create compelling content. Think like a journalist, and not a corporate communications advertorial writer. Content is appreciated if it avoids propaganda-sounding verbiage. Utilize a well-known third person, or industry expert for additional credibility.
