How to get more traffics and where can I find affiliates?

Hey everyone, I am currently running a mobile contents site, which including ringtones, wallpapers and games. I dun know how to increase the traffics and where can I find the affiliates. Any one here who can give me ideas or interested in this kind of cooperation?

You can increase traffic by advertising and by getting other sites to link to you. There's a lot more to it than that, but nearly all methods of getting traffic depend on one of those two things.

As for finding affiliates, you should be actively participating in forums like this one. If there's a forum for announcing affiliate programs, post a single message there. Beyond that, you'll probably be allowed to mention your program in your signature after you've made a certain number of posts. Affiliate forums are a great place to pick up new affiliates.

Couple more things I forgot to mention - you can also look for sites that are related to your niche and then check the WHOIS to send them a kind, personalized e-mail. Spam sucks and isn't particularly effective, so don't blow your chance with the people you work so hard to find.

You can also try attending affiliate events like Affiliate Summit if your budget permits. If you don't feel capable of doing these things, check out a site like Elance and hire someone to get your program off the ground.

Just partcipate and join the affiliate marketing forums. Make good posts and network with people looking for hot products.

Yes content is key whether it is on your site or another check out nextmarketers.com for good articles on getting started with cj.com and clickbank which is where you can get some big name affiliates.

Finding affiliates depends on type of marketing you plan on doing. Overall Google is the most effective but if you are focused on email, ezine or search engine marketing. Also networks like CJ or Linkshare would be your best bet to find affiliates. And for driving targeted traffic... the word of mouth is probably the most powerful marketing tool any of us have… it works because it comes from a trusted source.
