Default Sales Tax For Affiliates - What's Next
You won't believe what's happening in New York. On June, there's gonna be a sales tax for affiliates. Yes...a SALES TAX!

They want to qualify affiliate sites as a brick-and-mortar business. Ridiculous as it sounds, I wonder what is the reaction of the community. Who's gonna stand up for the little people.

What's next... a sales tax for adsense publishers?

Default Affiliate programs are getting now more exciting free money earnings
All of the affiliate programs are getting more expections now to reach immediate effect and getting more traffic to reach teh affiliate programs.

As much as I hate this tax (as I live in NY), I see the merit behind it. It was simply legal BS to force Amazon to start paying sales tax as other attempts have failed, and this one although illogical to anyone within the industry doesn't seem to bother average citizens (other than the new tax they have to pay).

overstock and amazon is filing lawsuit with supreme court. As expected, instead of the state of new york profiting from the sales tax, these affiliate programs and networks are throwing out their new york affiliates. So everyone loses...

So, this tax law affects only American based networks? Would we see New York affiliates flock to other foreign networks?
