Internet, Mass Communication & The Future World

The amount of information spread through the internet is ever increasing. Plus it creates options for many different viewpoints, expressions, perspectivies, opinions, thougths to be communicated to hundreds, thousands, millions of people.

There's now tons of info, video, articles or what not on religions, politics, lifestyle preference, sex, you name it, it's there.

As a result, there's more people being offended. Example would be like the latest 'Fitna' video and the outcry of many muslims.

There's also stuff like '15 year old girl wants a baby' who doesn't care how many guys she does it with. More and more opinions, more and more emotions, thoughs, opinions flying around.

The ability to communicate, express, influence to the world and have the world react.

A good thing? Eventually leading to a 'blending' of minds towards unity or 'factions' warring at each other?

The internet is a great thing, but of course there are also shady sides to it.
I am a big fan of the internet and think that people from all over the world can benefit from it - however, I think that people are generally overwhelmed by it. This process has gone so fast - within just a generation you suddenly now have access to such a great amount of information.
I am really excited about how the whole concept is going to develop in the future.

Any najor tool like the internet will have its users and abusers. I love the internet, it is such a great way to share information and to get a feel of other peoples' opinions

Sharing information and your opinions is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact it is in most cases a good thing.

The important thing is that the consumer uses and interpretes the informationshared with some intelligence
