When starting an affiliate program or advertising in other sites, you'll want to come up with banners that are targeted and looks good with an effective message supported by eye catching graphics.

But to get good designs, many design companies charge a hefty sum just to come up with a banner. Some even charge in the region of $500 per banner.

On the other spectrum, it can be frustrating dealing with low cost designers who gives token effort or lack the skills to demand higher as you do revision after revision.

Found this strange concept of organizing contests to attract designers to come up with loads of designs for you.

Then you be the judge and choose the winner which you will then purchase from (at reasonable prices). It provides you with more choices to choose from and the designs look good (from the examples that I saw).
