I've read alot of negatives about using Squidoo but it works for me so I thought I would share a tip I learned.

If you're using Squidoo to submitt your articles delete all the Modules except for the text and the Youtube module, I some times keep the RSS feed if I can find a blog that is related to my article. Select a video or two from Youtube that is related to your article. Obviously you have to select your key words correctly or you're just shooting yourself in the foot.

I have gotten first page results using this every time I've applied this technique. Search for effective youth ministry in google. I'm number 8 out of 363,000. Listed in less than 6 hours.

I agree. Squidoo is great for search engine rankings and driving traffic to websites. This is especially so if your lens is focussed on a very specific niche.

Even i have done squidoo to my site i got lot of traffic.And also use hubpage to get good PR in google.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions.I personally signed up in squidoo to submit my articles.The first time I got away with things and was successful in submitting my article ,but the next time I tried logging in with the same login credentials I failed and I had to get a new password,but couldn't submit articles.Now I know the reason,thanks to you.

Yup,

I really like Squidoo. I got heavy traffic at squidoo and I have make some money from squidoo. And Squidoo is the best for affiliate marketers.

I find that squidoo is great for traffic but not so hot for conversions

Any thought about that?

Thanks for this tip! I have several squidoo lenses myself but haven't played around with the youtube-videos on it yet. I'll let you know if I am successful with that method too! :-)

The more specific the niche the better traffic you will get with Squidoo, I get over 500 uniques a week from Squidoo alone.
