Default Tools for keyword research - SEO

When you're starting a new site, to maximize your SEO, you must select and utilize the most suitable keywords.

Some tools that can help you out:-
inventory.overture.com
goodkeywords.com

that'll help you to do your keywords research. Some might target the highly searched keywords (competing with many competitor sites) while others focus on the relatively high but lower competitive keywords. Afterall, if you can't make it in the first page of search listings, it's not worth competing.

I think wordtracker is possibly the best SEO tool when it comes to extracting keywords for a website.I have used it thrice and I found myself getting better SERP'S a good seo score and more pages cached by Google.

keywords and meta info are two highly overlooked items. unfortunately, both are very important in getting ranked in the serps.

Default Hi,

Hello

Google adwords is the best tool. It's very effective for our site's keywords. I have found some good keywords through this tool for my lime software.

Unfortunately it seems overture keyword tool no longer works. I think the SEO book keyword tool is a reasonable free alternative

My articles ranked well in Google by using their keyword tool. It is the best keyword tool for free that I use. If you have the right formula for this research tool, you can easily rank well in Google and that's what webmaster and marketers want.

Keyword Research is the very important part of optimizing. Before you can do on page optimization you need to find the right keyword first. Not all of the keywords that is ranking for your site are useful and will bring lot of targeted traffic. That is why you need to do keyword research by using keywords suggestion tool. Google suggestion tool is the best tool to find related and synonyms of keywords. After getting related keywords, find the traffic of each keywords and the number of search result in search engine then compute for KEI of each keywords. The formula of KEI is [ KEI = (traffic/search result)*traffic ] . It is better to target keywords that has high KEI which is greater than 1. If the KEI is less than 1 it only means that the keywords is very competitive or useless to target.

To be successful in getting the right keyword you should know the niche and the type business of your client. Think as if you're the owner and the visitors of the site. In this was you can come up with bright ideas in picking the right keywords for your site.

I've tried most of the keyword search tools and I think that wordtracker is the best tool so far for me.
