Currently in Google, more and more international sites are having higher ranking in their respective international google sites. Example: google.co.uk gives higher ranking and displays more .co.uk sites. If this is so, sites that rely on traffic from various countries might be affected if this continues to grow.
Which begs the question. Will this continue until these international sites will totally dominate the top ten results of international google searches? Will there be a precedence on geographic location over relevance of content? I should think not, since we can always click on limiting searches to local sites and leaving the 'the web' searches to be free for all.
