Finding a program that is best for your niche site.

There are many people who make money online by telling others how to make money online with exaggerated promises. When the universe smiles heavily on you and you live a life that has the cosmos aligned to your every whim and desires plus all the resources you can ask for, then you can emulate a persons' success quickly from scratch. Otherwise, it's alot of training, learning involved.

What do you think of creating a site around a particular program? For instance photo site around a ACDSee program or a toys site around a Toys R Us program? That way it's very easy to stay focused.

Hmm, well, if the site really has lots of products and some degree of variety than yeah, focusing on one site can not only help an affiliate to focus but also to draw in traffic from a wider demographic. Toys R Us are a crowd puller as it caters easily to kids, parents, teenagers, sportsmen, etc.

Otherwise, ign-up a few programs with complementing products and build a site around it. This is to benefit from cross promotion. The same person might be interested in products from more than one merchant. But of course too much and it gets more complicated and without a right structure and strategy confusing and even distracting for the visitor.
