Advertisers can use the option of 'excluded sites' to exclude their ads from appearing in poor performing sites. Makes sense but, there is one 'non website' option called Domain Ads that can't be excluded.
So the question is, would you actually want your ads to appear in parked domain sites (you know, those sites with no real content, floating in the internet to age them properly for higher PageRank when the domain names are finally utilized)? Visitors did search for specific keywords which lead them to the parked domain site with your specifically targeted ad. Problem is they perform poooorly yet Google is claiming that it performs better than actual sites with real content? What's google angle? Some webhosting companies paid Google for the feature of placing ads in this parked domain sites and claiming to earn revenue for their customers who bought the domain names by sucking money from the advertisers who are forced into this sinister collaboration? |
