Default Learning from quotes

Quotes serving as good guidelines for those of us who are starting businesses and have yet to have a philosophy or mindset to adopt.

Quote:
People call me perfectionist, but I’m not. I’m a “rightist”. I do something until it’s right and then I move on to the next thing.
It's not just about getting busy... but to find the right thing to produce...GOOD RESULTS.

Quote:
He who stops being better stops being good.
If you're on a deserted island with no competition, than you can stop being better.

Quote:
You have to measure what you want more of.
We all want more... but not all of us know how much more and reaslistically, the practicals and estimated timespan to reach it.

Quote:
Most people give up just when they;re about to achieve success. They quit on the one-yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown.
Don't simply give up something. Make sure you have a good view of the finish line and truly estimate what you would really be losing.

Quote:
History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats.
Hearbreaking obstacles are common. Weigh your priorities and be willing to pay the right price for it.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Enjoy life. If you can't enjoy a sunday, then what's the point of living.

Great quotes David. Btw, I stumbled upon Sun Tzu's Art of War. Yeah, the complete book, online. Enjoy.

Sun Tzu's Art of War. Good points there and highly relevant for war where all bets are of and you do whatever it takes to win cuz the stakes are too high. So most of the 'Art of War' is the 'Principles of Deception'. In business, the stakes are not as high, and deception is highly frown upon unlike war where it's considered 'clever' and at times respected.
