Blogging differently when you're desperate

Just an article that talks about certain influences to improve your blogging. It goes like this.... What if your life depends on you blogging? And whether we will blog differently, in that our attitude changes when we have money.

Stuff like maybe, you have a job and blogging is like a side income/project and you can survive without it so what if you lost your job and you can't find work and blogging is all you got? Would you write better content? Make your blog more interesting and targeted to ads?

It's all in the attitude. Sometimes having a secure life really demotivates you to do better.

I think yes, you would blog differently if money was involved. You'll tend to be more ad-centric/conscious, cause that's your ricebowl. But to be really good at blogging, which is a very creative field, you have to put money aside. Else, you'll end up driving traffic away with one too many ad windows.

Money aside meaning... don't spend everything I earn from the blog or put in some money to invest in the blog (marketing, etc) or perhaps have a side income to lessen the burden of life's demand so that you can put less ads on the blog?

Also, I wonder how strong the desire can be to outsource all the writing when you're already making lots of money from your blog.
