Default FaceBook is Soaring High

Im sure it is no longer news that Microsoft has invested $240m in Social Networking site Facebook in exchange for a 1.6% stake in the fast growing company.

I just read an interesting article on Facebook on the BBC Website. The article lists 15 reasons why Facebook may be worth over $15 Billion USD.

That's just a figure calculated from Microsoft's purchase of the stake. It could be an inflated figure due to Google bidding for it too. Either way, Facebook is growing tremendously and no one doubts that.

Yeah but Google likes to be king and not kow tow to facebook. You gotta love Google's methods in that they're really strategic decisions that utlize their unique strengths which put other people wanting to adopt it at a disadvantage. What am I talking about? Well read my previous post on the topic of Google forging the One Ring to unite them all.

Google is in the guise of 'supporting' social networks besides facebook (not even officially invited) and myspace, to create a dependancy on google for these networks. Rather than controlling facebook members, google's gonna go for controlling ALL social networks members.

That's why you gotta love them. They go for world conquering goals.

Yes I think that's what Google should be doing. It'll be harder going up against Facebook as a social network because it's not their forte.
