This is something to mull about. Survey says that Asian internet users are No.1 in the number search engine queries. Here are the stats:

1) Asia-Pacific region had the most searches with 258 million unique searchers conducting 20.3 billion searches.

2) Europe reported the second-most searchers, with 210 million. Europeans performed 18 billion searches.

3) North America’s 206 million searchers and 16 billion searches.

Now all the Asians have to do is to start buying online to explode internet sales and forever change e-commerce. Only when this happens will companies start to turn their attention to Asia.

Natually Asia leads the pack because it has the highest population. But North America would lead in terms of user affluence and market maturity.

I think porn should be around 70%

How many searches are related to pirated goods/files?

Maybe around 25%

How many are by site owners testing their keywords and pagerank?

I guess around 0.1 %

This is sure to be at least somewhat accurate but i forgot to add the gaming traffic which is getting quite popular and social networking which is not far behind porn nowadays. HE he

If you look at this list of most searched keywords. Girls come in at no.9, while Paris Hilton comes in at no.1. and Britney at no.6.

Three out of 11 words are girl related. Which would back Gajandra's prediction of porn related searches.
