Default Time Management example - learning from a blogger

Time Management by snoskred.org

For merchants and affiliates alike and especially regular bloggers, time management remains one of the importance aspects in ensuring that we remain productive and continue on our goals in... getting more money.

Each person should have a system to manage time and if not, well, it's understandable that most people do not consider about time management until the daily pressures messes up our priorities and create serious problems. Banging the wall is usually the wake up call to take time management seriously.

I like how the article about separates the various aspects or levels of time management and that there is an relevant image for us to understand his system better.

I agree that for bloggers, readers look for:-
reliability, good content, positivity, ideas & something unique and that the best way to come up with it is to have a good plan. Writing articles on the fly relies just on talent and misses out on the little hard work that will really improve the quality of the articles.

One thing about time management and the system that we use, we get better to more we practice the system.

Also, like in everything we plan, better to write it down and place the plan or schedule in a visible place to refer.

Working out a system involved also tweaking it because not matter how prepared you may be, you're still not gonna get everything right at the first go.

So should you fail or do less than expected in the first round of implementing or following your system, improve and try again.

Default Write down a buletted list

I have experimented with time mangement but oddly what works best for me is write down a list according to priority and then scratch out what you have accomplished one by one. I know this may sound primitive but strangely writing it down helps me reinforce my memory. Nobody has immaculate memory. At best we only remember what is urgent and rushed. That is why I write down tasks if they are not part of my routine and tackle them one at a time in between whatever other routine tasks I perform. There are a lot of ways you can do this, some use calenders and some use diaries. I just use the simplest form of scribbling it on a piece of paper. Ha HA try it for it might just work.

Possibly it's because time management and organization is a skill that requires training and practice.

People who start out on time will likely be able to only do one thing at a time but eventually grow to manage multitasking and organizing multiple things at the same time.

The dream of every boss for their employees.

I schedule my tasks in Outlook and sync them to my phone. Works well for me. I have learnt however, that scheduling every small thing will ultimately doom your timetable because things do spring up.

Scheduling. It a kind of ruler to gauge where you're at. You come up with a tight schedule and it usually doens't turn out well, cuz we usually overestimate what we can achieve. You scale down... and hopefully you'll be able to meet it. If you breeze it, then you gotta tighten it more and see how it goes.

Or you could start with a bare minimal, achieve it, tighten your schedule as you go along. Although, I have to say that very soon, it's gonna bring about new sets of challenges with every turn of the screw.

Practicals:-
Have a schedule and know your level of productivity. Good to know. I think a productive life can be very fulfilling and it helps to prepare or avoid mid life crisis.

I do agree with you David. One does have to understand where they sit as far as productivity goes. When you do you can schedule according to how much you get to accomplish in a given day. When you do this your productivity curve will go up eventually. Tackle them with vigor and enthusiasm and go home knowing you accomplished something in every day.
