Write articles [2-small-business.com]

Anyone and everyone can write articles. I mean, it can be as short as half a page. How hard can that be.

Writing about something related to your products and placing it in article sites is easier still. Check out the link for a list of sites.

List of article sites to submit your article

Doesn't take long and doesn't cost money.

But do remember to try to incorporate your business' details into the content of the article. Stuff like your url, your brand name, your name or your contact email. This is to make it harder for writers to rewrite your article and claim it for their own. Just make it subtle so that web publishers will want to use put it in their sites.

For merchants with an affiliate program, write an article on how to earn money, specifically with your affiliate program. Provide step by step info and the progression to make big big bucks. Include the reasons and scenarios of why it's your products do well with affiliates.

Anyone can write an article, but to write a really exceptional one will take great talent and patience. Writing isn't as easy as saying it, finding the right content, and putting it into words can be hard work, in the long run.

It's a balance between consistency and quality content, which I second drastic, can be hard to do. That said, it would help greatly if your content team wasn't made up of one individual. Three writers would be good, ensuring a constant flow of juicy content, and make up for who ever is absent.

The internet then is creating a higher demand for writers as much more content gets published and the more phased people are with mundane, lame content.
