Any tips on SEOs for blogs?

SEO is crucial to generating free traffic to your affiliate marketing site, be it blog or not.

You really need to include SEO in your arsenal. Yes short term the effects are not noticable but in the long term, good SEO will get you high in the SERPs resulting in free traffic

SEO for blogs depends on the platform. If you are using Wordpress, then Google for "seo wordpress" and you will find many tips, particularly the plug-ins that will help.

Hmm...that's interesting. Is it true different blog host require different strategies? I thought all SEO was the same?

For platforms such as Wordpress, you can choose plug-ins to add. For hosted solutions such as Blogger, you might have to edit the template, e.g. the design you like might not have a Description tag, so you have to add one.

I blogged about this some months ago: http://www.netmagellan.com/seo/wordpress-seo-plugins/ but since then I have added other plug-ins for Wordpress. You have to think "traffic" more so than "SEO" so that you can find other plug-ins to help bring human traffic via RSS readers, directories etc.

Go to a good seo company and give your blog and explain them what are the results you are expecting form to them.May be that would be useful.

There are so many answers to this question. And I can take all day. But to keep my answer short and quick, but is more sort of an opinion than a factual answer...

I find it easier to optimize on Wordpress than on blogger or any other blog software. Simply because I am faster using it with the presence of a tons of SEO related plugins for Wordpress.

I've read alot of negatives about Squidoo but from my personal experience I get GREAT results using it. All of my post have landed on the first page the longest one took 18 hours from the time I submitted it till it hit number 7 on the first page. I've even gotten first page with search results of over 363,000. See for yourself...google effective youth ministry I'm number 8
