Video ads in affiliate marketing

Text links, banners, htmls. With the popularity of video clips from youtube, should more and more affiliate networks start providing affiliates with video ads from merchants? Maybe, these videos should be small enough to ensure that it doesn't take too long to load or lag.

It captures attention, utilizes sound although it mostly irritates me. As long as they keep it short and don't loop it. Problem is if it's in the main page and i keep getting back to it and it keeps on loading the video.

I have created videos in YouTube. I didnt face any problem. I would say its one revoluation in affiliate marketing.
