Default Why Should use Google Adsense

The following are 12 reasons why you should use Google Adsense:

1.You can focus on creating content.

When it comes to selling your advertising space, Google does all the work for you. This allows you to focus on improving or creating new web sites!

2.Google serves targeted ads.

For the most part, you don't have to worry about the ads that Google puts on your site. In most cases they are the most relevant ads for your content. Before Google Adsense, if the webmaster wanted ads that targeted his content, he had to manually find affiliate programs that suited the content himself.

3.You get paid every month.

Affiliate programs have different payment schedules. A lot of them pay once every quarter (3 months). Unfortunately, some smaller affiliate programs never pay their affiliates! Since Google is a big company with huge financial backing, you don't have to worry about them stiffing you.

4.The ads don't annoy your visitors.

Unlike some banner ads, Adsense ads won't irritate your users. In fact, since the ads are targeted, your users might actually find them useful!

5.Google displays the highest paying ads.

Google automatically displays the highest paying ads on your web sites because the sponsors have to bid on placement. The ad in the number one spot is usually the highest paying ad.

6.You control the look of the ads.

Google gives you the ability to customize the color of the ad. You can also pick from a variety of different ad shapes. This allows you to place ads without having to change the design of the your site.

7.It's quick and easy.

Log in, create the code, and paste it on your web site. It doesn't get easier than that! This is great if you plan on creating a lot of web sites. You can create a web site, insert the code, and move onto your next web site.

8.Google provides reporting tools.

Google tracks information about your ads that you can use to maximize your income. By using channels, you can tell which ads are performing best and which aren't.

9.You only have to apply once.

Even if you have hundreds of web sites, you only need to have one of them approved. Thankfully this saves a lot of time because you don't have to wait 24 hours for Google's approval every time you create a new web site!

10.You can block your competition.

You don't have to worry about your competitors ads showing up on your web site because Google allows you to block their ads.

11.Google has a large network of advertisers.

Since Google has a network of over 15,000 web sites advertising on AdWords, there are plenty of ads for even the smallest niches. Another benefit to having a large network of advertisers is they all try to outbid each other for the best ad position. This means higher paying ads for you!

12.You can make a lot of money!

Obviously this is the number one reason why everyone is so enthusiastic about Adsense! When it comes to how much money you can make… the possibilities are limitless!

I prefer banner ads. I find myself overlooking Adsense ads a lot because they don't stand out enough. Another type of ad that works are the embedded keyword links. Keywords in the article are highlighted and linked, making them extremely targeted yet subtle.

I support Adsense all the way! I'm using them to promote affiliates. Works way better than blogs.

I think that it's undeniable that adsense can help you to earn money. It's really a lazy man's method to monetizing your sites. Yet it's per click basis. Whether it generates a sale or not, you still get paid. But it's very low.

With affiliate marketing's Pay per action (sale/lead) you get 10s to 100s per sale generated rather than adsense' cents and 1s. It's got a higher learning curve, which is why adsense may seem a better option... at first. But banner ads, text links and htmls, plus datafeeds and coupons deliver a higher level of targeted ads to match targeted content.

At the end of the day, it's about meeting a real need, which would encourage visitors to continue visiting your site and clicking on your banners. Throwing millions of people on adsense satisfies more of a different need. The need to be curious. After a while, people don't get as curious when no needs are met and they start overlooking these ads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with affiliate marketing, you get to choose and select your merchants and ensure that your visitors visit well designed, good navigation, good offers sites rather than some of the crappy sites that adsense directs them to.

Still, adsense is easy and there will be many who will not take the time to learn.
