The sun can really wreak havoc on your skin - and often there just isn't time to run to the store for special lotions and potions to solve the problem. The following are the solutions within arm's reach:
- Dark circles under eyes - us a concealer with a pink, peachy or yellow undertone to neutralise the blue and green in circles - and avoid plum, purple and red shades of shadow.
- Zits - got a pimple? Rub on a paste of baking soda and water to dry it out by morning.
- Dull complexion - wet a washcloth with warm water and squeeze on lime juice. Press onto your face for a few minutes; repeat three times to make skin glow.
- Chapped lips - to expoliate lips, apply petroleum jelly or a face scrub to a soft toothbrush and gently rub on lips. Apply lip balm.
- Cracked lips - in the corners, these are often caused by yeast infections. Massage in a dab of anti-fungal cream, being careful not to get any in the mouth. If the condition doesn't heal within a week, see a doctor.
