Have you heard of this,the new Apple iPhone? this cell phone has an 8 GB capacity. According to David Pogue of the New York Times, who's been using the said phone for weeks,was besieged with questions about it. And unlike the masses,Pogue has answers. Among the highlights from Pogue's FAQ:
You can't use the iPhone with gloves or a stylus of any sort, only skin. (Sorry, robots!)

You can't use another SIM card beside the one that comes with the device. However, I'm sure this will be the first thing hackers start messing with, so stay tuned.
Again, a two-year AT&T contract is required. Required. It won't even work as an iPod without one.

No custom ring tones!
Using your own headphones is tricky due to weird design on the headphone jack. Adapters are available.
The only Bluetooth support is with a headset, not a PC or other devices.
You can't use the iPhone as a wireless modem, though I can't imagine you would need to. That's the whole point.

You can make calls and browse the internet via Wi-Fi at the same time.
Bookmarks don't sync with Firefox.
The iPhone really is as fast as it seems in the commercials... as long as you're on a Wi-Fi connection.
The camera has no flash, no zoom, and no self-portrait mirror.
Man, that's a lot of things that don't really thrill me and only a couple that do (OK, only one). But that's the Apple way: Ship the basic model first, then add features later (or let third-party developers do it with hardware add-ons).

Eivrad, welcome to the forum. Hmm, this iPhone is really cool, as I review its features. But I was wondering at the same time as to how much does it cost in the market today? Do you have any idea, Eivrad?

well according to the article i've just read a while ago,AT&T's service plans for the Apple iPhone will cost $59.99 to $99.99 a month..the monthly fee is on top of the phone's price~$499 for a model with 4GB of storage and $599 for one with 8GB. the phone is slated to go on sale this June 29 at 6pm at Apple and AT&T stores,check it out on their web.The $59.99 monthly plan includes 450 minutes of voice time; a $79.99 plan includes 900 minutes; and a $99.99 plan includes 1,350 minutes. All three offer 200 text messages, unlimited data services, minutes that roll over month-to-month and mobile-to-mobile calls.

haha.. i dont get it? whats with the AT&T contract? I've heard it is a two year contract. People are going crazy about the Iphone, but it sounds like there are more disadvantages rather than good features..

i've read that the iPhone got too much hype than what it deserves.
a lot of reviews have shown that $499 for 4GB and $599 for 8GB isn't worth your money.

well, that may be the price for fad and aesthetics.

Yeah, there have too much posts regarding this iPhone. I am starting to wonder if our members would want to start a new forum regarding this, . Anyways, it has been noted that iPhone is selling like hotcakes in the US alone. Simply because of its design and functionality. Have yet to hear bad news about it though. If anyone has heard any bad news or comments on this regard, replies are highly appreciated.

The iphone is amazing no doubt!
Problem is i'm from Israel, and apple are known for having problems with making their products have Hebrew support.
There is a nice site about the Iphone hebrew version here, for all you Israelis out there .

Any thoughts on 1.1.3? And they should really start selling the 16GB version here like they do in Japan.
