Default About Google Gears

Have you heard about Google Gears? It is a pretty cool open source browser that bridges the gap between web desktop applications and web applications. For those who have not installed one yet, It's very much like to an ActiveX control, wherein you receive security warning as part of your install procedure.

The original application to have offline access via Google Gears is Google Readers, basically as Google's RSS Reader. Once a user install the plug-in, you will be able to read the RSS content even if you are offline and synchronize directly to the RSS feed provider as soon as you get back online.

This looks good. I was wondering as to how can we download it, do they have something like a toolbar? And does it have a fee? Maybe you can share with us the URL?
