With Terry Semel out and Yahoo! Founder Jerry Yang back in as CEO of the company, you would think that Wall Street, which had clamored for a change, would be pleased. But a report in the Los Angeles Times says Yang lacks credibility as a manager and will have trouble trying to turn Yahoo around.
Critics of Yang point to the emergence of Google and the inroads made by News Corp. with its MySpace acquisition as evidence of the founder's inability to effectively manage the once-dominant Yahoo.

I personally have reservations on the capability of Yang to steer Yahoo during this crucial time when competition is heating up. I would view Yang as an innovator rather than a competitor.
