I can't give my Mom anything but all the love that I could give, and of course this poem.
Dear Mom,
I wish there was a way
to show how much you've done
to lay out every minute
I have been your son
from carrying me to the doctor's office
when I bumped my head
to singing me those soft lullabies
while you tucked me into bed
from helping me with school projects
that were due the day before
to cheering me up when the kids at school
wouldn't talk to me anymore
from pushing me to finishing school
so I would have more choice
to encouraging me be creative
so that I could find my voice
all these things you've done for me
and there is so much more
you've helped me be the man I am
I hope your not keeping score!
Have a great Mother's May.
