I have even been approached by a local company called Profitable Plots, which I think is using the same ol scam method.

They basically buy a plot of dallas mortgage, then subdivide it many, many parts and sell it to you as an investment vehicle at a far, far higher price than they bought it with the promise that the land can be converted into a development title, but generally in 5-7 years, they'll fail to convert, and you'll be stuck with a lemon.. and they'll likely declare bankrupt, running away with your money.

If you want to invest, please buy your own properties and do your own research. Don't get scammed into all these land investment opportunties.
