Another FAQ from the Affiliates - What is EPC?

EPC has already been discussed here for a couple of times. But for purposes of giving our Affiliates the first hand information, allow me to define EPC, once and for all.

EPC stands for Earnings Per 100 Clicks. AffiliateBOT's affiliates are being paid for the actual leads or sales generated for our merchants rather than on the number of clicks the affiliates generate for the merchants. In this regard, EPC shows the correlation between the number of clicks generated by the affiliates with the actual payment being received.

EPC is just a computed correlation data to guide affiliates on choosing a program to join as opposed to actual payment an affiliate is being credited for. You can use EPC data as a hint on which program you can earn the most. Let's take LoanWeb for example. LoanWeb has $187.70 7-Day EPC. This means that on an average 7-day period of observation, an affiliate can earn $187.70 on every 100 clicks generated. Though this is not the actual payout, EPC gives the affiliates an idea how much they can earn for the particular program.

The EPC stats is a great tool for affiliates to discern the income potential of the programs that they are planning to promote. Using this information will give you an idea whether existing affiliates are getting good conversion in campaigning for the said program.
So make sure you check you EPC status before you sign up for the program.

In fact EPC will tell you as to whether a certain product is sellable or not. I'm always on the lookout on EPC whenever I join a particular program.

EPC, in every sense of the word, simply means the infrastucture between sales or leads and the number of clicks that a certain program has generated. It's a correlation between the two, in such a way that Affiliates would have the idea on which product has the higher conversion rate.
