Why I got rejected immediately after apply to join a program

I am a newbie. I joined affiliatebot yesterday. When I got approved, I applied to join one program. Got immediately rejected. Thought the system need time to process. I applied for another one couple hours after, rejected again?! What's happening here?

Do you have a website or blog that is related to the program you were going to promote? If not that could be the reason.

Also some advertisers set up filters to immediately reject affiliates that don't pass their requirements.

One trick I've used before is to email (even better technique is to pick up the phone and call) the merchant and ask them for a reason why you were rejected and let them know that you will do whatever possible to meet the requirements. Or if you're already doing well, let them know about what strategy you would be using to promote their program.

Some merchants or advertisers are looking on the quality of traffic and the demographic of your website. If they deem that your site is not match to their program, then they can decide not to allow you into the program.
